As part of her desire to produce professional videos, Cheyanna studied electronic music at The Art Institute of Vancouver. This is where she was taught professional music production, sound design, and beat making. For her, as an artist, it is important to have as much creative control as possible and being able to create and mix her own sound gives her more opportunities for success within her career.

Another facet of Cheyanna is as a DJ mixer ANNASHAY. She had always wanted to become a DJ since discovering the bass knob on her sub-woofer.  After many years of wishing and admiring other DJs, she was finally able to acquire a pair of DJ decks and a mixer, and became self -taught, learning new tricks of the DJ Mixing trade. Cheyanna plans to start making her own beats and come out with a Mixtape in the very near future.
