GIFTS Native Youth Video Showcase part 2

“Aboriginal Youth Speaking from the Heart”, “Shapeshifter” and “Green 4 Green” 3 more of the awesome videos from this year’s Aboriginal Intensive Program at the Gulf Island’s Film and Television School.

First Nations Youth Speaking from the Heart
by Clyde Jack (Cowichan) and Jae Dakota (Cree)
A documentary on what it means to be a Native youth.

by Charles Walkem (Thompson)
A mock trailer for a horror movie!

Green 4 Green
PSA, say no to drugs!
by Braedon Abou (Sekani) and Ross Mccook (Cree)

Getting all these Native people from all over together in such a creative environment was a truly amazing experience. We laughed, we cried and we made movies! I often think back on my time at GIFTS with appreciation for the experiences I had and the people I met.
